Increased hospitalizations during the COVID-19 pandemic led to changes in providing potentially inappropriate treatments and the creation/revisions of scarce resource allocation policies. This session will review research evaluating DNR and unilateral DNR use during the COVID-19 pandemic and evaluate scarce medical allocation protocols for mechanical ventilation and ECMO.
