Substance Use Disorders
CRHC faculty are tackling the serious problems of substance use disorders and overdoses through interventions to increase PCPs’ adherence to opioid prescribing guidelines; comparative effectiveness trials to help PCPs safely treat acute pain and avoid overprescribing opioids; and tailoring treatment for people living with HIV to try to reduce their chronic pain.
