This seminar will provide an introduction to the use of national VA claims data for research on Veterans' health during and around pregnancy. Dr. Quinn will (1) present an overview of the health profile of women Veterans of reproductive age and the VA maternity care benefits program, (2) discuss findings from her research in this area (including her VA-funded Career Development Award), and (3) outline next steps for research and implementation.
