CTSA Visiting KL2 Scholars Grand Rounds

Radioresistance limits the curative potential of radiation and affects the quality of life of cancer patients. Currently, there are no FDA-approved radiosensitizers, despite the persistent unmet clinical need. We conducted unbiased, large-scale, genetic screens designed to elucidate the metabolic regulation of radiation response and to inform the design of the metabolic radiosensitizers.
