Drs. Hall and Moehling Geffel are members of the newly established Religion and Medicine Initiative hosted by the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Religious Studies with support from the Center for Bioethics and Health Law. Drs. Hall and Moehling Geffel will review literature on the associations of religion and spirituality on health outcomes with a focus on advanced models of causal inference and health services research, including end of life care and patient satisfaction, to foster invitation for potential interdisciplinary collaboration.
