In this seminar, we will review the major prescription drug policy changes included in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 and how they might affect Medicare spending and patient affordability. Historical stimulation research studies and related work will be shared to better understand the scope and impact of these policies, their limitations, and outstanding areas that need to be addressed by state or federal policymakers.
